A HISTORY IN HOCKEY
Created by Chris Sutherland 2013, Aratac are a somewhat new brand. However, with 30 years experience working in the industry and a highly successful career playing for Scotland, Great Britain and The European Select, you could say we are the most experienced new brand in hockey.
For Chris’ son Scott, who also played hockey internationally, joining his father in developing Aratac was a natural progression for his own career. And, for this family run business, innovation, progress and pure knowledge of the game, is at the heart of what we do.

Aratac are a brand that live and breathe hockey, and in an ever-changing sport like hockey, there is always a demand for innovative design. Aratac are here to meet that demand. It matters hugely to us that the modern player, of all different levels, is confident that our stick will improve their game.
Fresh ideas are a result of the tireless efforts we put into research and development. Our hands on approach to developing new materials and textiles means that we are close to all the products we produce.
A massive part of what makes Aratac the brand it is, is the fact that we quite simply love hockey, and we have feet on the ground, close to the game in all weather – looking for the next good idea.
